There are photosensitive elements on the solar panel. They automatically charge up during the day and and come on at dusk.
Simple installation:
- Turn the switch on under the lid.
- Screw on the lids.
- Leave it in sunshine.
- Light up automatically and give a lovely warm glow at dusk.

The images in the advert showed large jars filled with lights. When it arrived, it was small jar lid, lights and a handle. Ok, I see, I thought. Luckily I had a jar.
The lid would not twist onto the jar however. After some wrangling, it clicked, with the result that the battery holder I. The lid opened and was broken. I tried to glue it. It now doesn’t work at all. Was it worth a tenner? Absolutely not.
These were just what I wanted and already got them set up in bottles and price was great also.
